Simple characters in a simple setting for maximum effect. We started off with designing the characters by with many references. The primary character (the citizen) was modeled first and the other characters were based on him. Then we looked for references for the style of environment. The storyboard was drawn with the style in mind. Modelling of the environment will follow after we decide the shots needed from the storyboard.

  Our characters are supposed to look like toys, so quite some time was spent on figurines research and look development.

The prophecy of heroes is a common theme in movies. People’s expectations can lead to changes in the future. Over relying on someone else to help them takes away their ability to problem solve. People cannot always wait for help from a third party.
